Congratulations to the SPPG Alumni Network on holding the first ever AGM on Thursday, June 13th where we unanimously passed a Constitution, which creates a governance structure for our network (attached, and also on our website). Please read on for some important information about our new Alumni Network Executive.
Election Process
Nominations: June 24-July 1
Online voting: July 1 – July 5  (nominees will be posted on our Policy Forward website)
Winners announced: July 8
Nominations
Now that we have an Executive, it is also time to solicit nominations for the following positions:
  • Chair
  • Vice-Chair Finance
  • Vice-Chair Operations
  • Vice-Chair Communications
  • Vice-Chair Connections
  • Vice-Chair Social
More information about the roles is included in the Constitution.
To nominate yourself or another alumni, send an email to sppg.alumni@gmail.com by July 1. The nominee must confirm that they accept the nomination and submit a brief statement about why they want to run (~100 words). Thank you to everyone who has already submitted a nomination.
