Reporting to the Head, Departmental Strategy and Policy, is responsible for providing policy and program support, review, research, analysis and coordination across the Department; assisting with the development of continuous quality improvement initiatives including process mapping and researching transportation industry best practices; and monitoring developments, opportunities and trends in legislation that may impact Transportation operations/planning or policy.

For the three full time positions we are interested in a range of applicants with different levels of experience, from early career researchers with some track record who are looking for a substantive position to launch a career, to mid career or more experienced researchers who are excited by the vision of Wellesley Institute and want to work with our team. The fourth position will be a one-year post to carry on our housing work while our housing specialist is on secondment.  The successful applicant will undertake work on housing supports and supportive housing to complement our ongoing work.  We envisage an applicant with at least a master’s degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent) and some track record in housing research.
